Online lessons take place via Whereby. This is a browser-based video conferencing app, so you do not need to download any additional software. You will need a laptop or tablet with a webcam and microphone to access online lessons. Alternatively, you can use a desktop computer with peripheral webcam and microphone. I strongly advise against using mobile phones, as they are not large enough to see the whiteboard.
For online sessions, I strongly recommend students have a graphics tablet to be able to easily write on the online whiteboard themself. If you do not already have one, this model is modestly priced and does everything you will need it to do. Graphics tablets are not necessary for personal statement support sessions.
