In-person tuition is available in certain areas of Greater London. Please contact me if you would like to discuss it as an option. Upcharges apply for in-person tuition, based on the cost and time of travel. As a guide, the upcharge is likely to be at a reasonable level for North, Northwest, and Central London, and Southwest Hertfordshire. I do not offer lessons at my own home.
If you have opted for in-person tuition, please note that additional charges apply for very short notice cancellation or rescheduling. Please see the cancellation policy.
Requirements for in-person tuition:
- Another adult must be present in the house during the session – this is inline with safeguarding best practice
- The room where sessions take place should be well-lit and have power sockets
- The room where sessions take place should have a table with chairs for both myself and the student
- The room where sessions take place should generally be a living room, study, or dining room – bedrooms are not a suitable choice
- The room where sessions take place should generally be free of serious distractions for the duration e.g. TV should not be on, no loud music being played etc.
